Hello

Hello Everybody! Sorry that I haven't posted anything new lately. School just started along with football practice, band, choir and homework. Yes, Jordan is keeping me very busy. These are all of the extra cirricular activities that he is in so far. I can't wait until football is over, then maybe the schedule will slow down a little bit. The little ones are doing good. Patrick's new favorite movie is "The Jungle Book". It is a cute movie, but now he thinks that he is a jungle boy. I mean literally. All the way to not wearing a shirt because jungle boys don't wear shirts. He is in preschool twice a week. He is doing great. Acedemicallly, he is a little ahead of the other kids in his class, but socially I would say he is right on. Braeden is also doing well. Over the summer, he aquired the nickname Spoungebob. I am very excited because now he is able to hold a semi intellegent conversation (as intellegent as a 2 year old could be).

I guess you are wondering about my health. I think that it is pretty much the same. I have been getting really tired a lot quicker now. That could just be because I am running with the kids so much. I have been having pains in my back and my doctor thinks that it may be tumors, but I keep procrastenating getting x-rays done. I think that I am content how I am and I don't want anymore news. I will have to go for the x-rays as soon as I can. My next appoitment with my oncologist will be on Nov. 10. I will have to have a MRI of my leg a couple of weeks prior to the appoitment just to make sure that there aren't any tumors there. When I go to my appoitment, I will be getting CT Scans of my lungs to see how those tumors are progressing. I will then be put on an expieremental medication called perifosine. I think that it is used for colon cancer. If anybody reading this blog has any information on perifosine, please let me know. I don't know much about it.
