Almost There

I thought that I would give a quick update. Tomorrow is my last injection for this month. This week has been difficult. I have been feeling EXTRA tired and simply drained. My stomach is starting to be more upset, but I am not nauseous or anything yet. I thought this treatment was supposed to get easier as the months go on, but it doesn't look that way.
Some of you have heard about the new DNA treatment for cancer. I think they clone your DNA and inject you with it and it "tricks" your body into thinking that it is healthy so the cancer cells go away. I could be wrong about how this works, but it is all over the news and the Internet. I am thinking about asking my doctor about that study. It wouldn't hurt to know if it is an option.
Anyway, I have one more day left. I will have CT Scans on March 16 (the same day that my new cycle begins) to find out if this virus is working or not. I will try to keep you all updated!
Love you all and please continue to pray for me and my family!

Reolysin Round 2

Well, I have just began the second round of Reolysin. I was feeling pretty good going into it. I was almost feeling normal; just really tired. My first injection was Monday. I had a horrible fever on Monday night and I guess my fever dehydrated my a lot! I went on Tuesday (today) for my second injection. It took almost 6 hours because they had to re-hydrate me. It took a little more than a liter of fluid. I feel a LOT better now. The symptoms of last night were fever, chills and I couldn't sleep. I have been drinking a ton of water today so maybe things will go a little more smoothly tomorrow.
Denny and Shannon have been hosting me this week and they have been great! They have been very worried about making sure that I am comfortable and Shannon has been making sure that I am eating and drinking enough water.
I will give another update soon. Thank you for all of your prayers and support!!!
