Thank you!!!

I would like to send a big thank you to everyone who has participated in the walk in any way. Many of you have donated money, walked, helped organize or simply prayed and I really appreciate all of it!
My new treatments are ok I guess. I am getting infused with an antibiody and it makes me really exhausted. I think that is the biggest side effect so far. I have had 4 infusions so far and something always happens to make it last a little longer. Hopefully soon we can establish a routine for this. I will have another CT in 2 weeks to find out if this stuff is working or what it is doing other than sucking out all of my energy.
Thought I would send a quick update and a BIG thank you to everyone who has had a thought, had or prayer for the success of the walk. I will post again when I know more info.

New Stuff

Well, I went for my CT scan yesterday and my tumors grew a little bit, but it put me over the limit meaning that the Reolysin isn't working anymore. I will now attempt a new medicine (I forgot what it is called) which is an antibody. I will have to go to Ann Arbor once a week for an infusion. I am kinda happy that I will only be gone once a week but I am bummed about the growth of my tumors.
I have one tumor that has been hurting me lately and I found out that it is leaning on a nerve. The doctor said that we will just use pain meds and if that doesn't work (down the road) we can remove that one tumor.
I will be starting my new treatments on 7/8/09 and Kevin will be coming with me for the first one.
